These are the logos I created for ADAM's Alphas. I did Senior and Creative Director too. A concept I used from the article was the unique letters/font. I decided to make all the letters out of triangles. It might be a little hard to read, but I wanted mine to be unique.
You can use other people's work if you change it enough that it's not recognizable as theirs. You have to change it to make it your own. And you cannot reuse the copy-righted designs like Coca-Cola or Pepsi.
I love the use of the triangles to make the type different. I also like the angling of alphas. over all it is a great logo

ReplyDeleteI really like the shading you did in your logo. How all the colors blend with each other. Such as the teal with the black in the first logo. As you said in your blog, your letters are hard to read at first, but it shows the uniqueness and time taken into this project. The only thing that I would change about the logo is for the first logo, you have the wolf stand out more. You can do that by clicking the paint bucket tool, choose the color icon, and find a color that stands out above the black. Other than that, GREAT JOB!!
I like the wolf howling and how it clearly stands out against the background. What could be improved is the visibility of some of the letters. This can be done by selecting the letter with the magic wand, then picking a color that stands out against the super cool background.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like about your logo is how you used triangles as letters because its creative and makes it more unique. What I feel you can improve is maybe turn the "H" a little more so its not completely slanted :)
ReplyDeleteYour logo is elegant, and simple; two attributes that great logos must possess.The only way to improve is to blend the alternate logo's wolf slightly so that it does not look like (the two leg spaces) are popping out too much. You could zoom in with Ctrl+ and use a softer eraser to blend the edges. Overall, though, this is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteyour logo is amazing. I love the colors you chose and they way it's set up. I would never think of this way to do something like this. If you could improve anything I would improve the way how it's plain. Just add more details, other than that it's awesome!
